I don’t think I’ve had such an eventful week in quite some time.  I saw daughter off to Florida on Friday for her school Chorus trip to Disney World.  She’s called at least 2 or 3 times a day since then.  She apparently twisted her ankle and used a wheelchair for a day or two which sent her straight to the front of the lines.  She’ll be home Wednesday evening and am sure has MUCH more to tell us.

I babysat my 6 month old great-nephew on Saturday.  My 17 year old son was the only other one home and he was dumb struck.  He thought it was pretty hard work even though Connor is a very happy baby.  He doesn’t fuss much as long as he has someone to “talk” to.  He loved the dog and the cats too even though they were not quite sure what he was.  I’ll tell you, I was one exhausted great-aunt on Saturday but loved every minute of it!

I took my Dad to lunch today for his 77th birthday (yesterday) and my sister and niece and Connor came along too.  We don’t get together much (shame on us – no excuse) and it was fun and a much welcome break from work!  I know my younger sister will be quite jealous even though she’s taking him out on Thursday which is her daughter’s birthday.  Today is my nephew’s (son of sister who came to lunch, Uncle to Connor) birthday and Friday is my son’s birthday (which is when he will really be 17).  Busy March, so it is!
