Yum!! I remember the first time I tasted one of those chocolate-filled croissants! I was leaving Paris on the train through the chunnel, on my way to a conference in London (boy that makes me sound like the jettsetter that I’m NOT!)
Anyway, some garcon had a food cart he was wheeling along the aisle. I bought one of those delcious treats, devoured it, and took a sleeping pill. (I didn’t much like the idea of the chunnel taking us under the English Channel for ever so long, but I needed to get to the UK fast!)
How nice for your daughter to have a lovely culinary association with the language :-) I hope it will motivate her to learn to speak French…
