A couple of yummy recipes

Puppy Chow (some call it trash)
9 cups crispy rice cereal squares
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate; add peanut butter and mix until smooth.
Remove from heat, add cereal and stir until coated.
Pour powdered sugar into large plastic bag, add coated cereal and shake until well coated. Store in airtight container.
EASY BANANA BREAD
5 ripe bananas
1 (18 1/2 oz.) box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl mash bananas and add remaining ingredients. With electric beater, mix two minutes at medium speed. Pour into buttered 5 x 9 inch loaf pan and bake one hour.

Hey – these just seem to simple to be true.
Both sound wonderful for an impromptu game night with friends. hardly any fuss.

Oh yum – I’ve never heard of Puppy Chow, but it sounds simply wonderful – hey, have you ever considered adding peanut butter to the melted mix???

I JUST made banana bread the “old fashioned” way on Friday. Now why didn’t I get this recipe earlier?! They both look wonderful.
