Cool Site of the Day

This is today’s Cool Site of the Day. I thought it was pretty interesting that the United States hasn’t committed to participating. I realize we already spend a lot of money in aid to other countries (while most of the time ignoring our needs at home), but it still makes me feel like we should help. I also like the idea of Heifers International. I’ve seen the BlogHer Ad for it on several blogs and visited the site. The concept is to provide means for poverty stricken areas to learn how to cost effectively maintain animals and plants to sustain themselves and pass on their knowledge to others as well.
So many charities to choose from. I wish I could give to them all. I’ve decided I’m going to do what I can, where I can. It’s the least I can do with the gifts God has granted me.
